This Free Workshop consists of: Training and supervision for Addiction Counselors in Action Methods and Souldrama…a new model Integrating Two Models for the Treatment of Addiction: Souldrama® and the Twelve Step Recovery in Action.
Who can use these techniques? Substance abuse counselors who are helping clients move through various stages of recovery. This experiential workshop will offer addiction counselors and mental health professionals:
- Training in the new model for Souldrama and the holistic action model for the 12 steps:
- Action methods to help clients break though denial and accept their powerlessness.
- How to put the 12 steps into action, uniting our rational, emotional and spiritual intelligences.
- Exciting and creative ways to enhance communication.
- Participants will learn how to use: Action sociometry to build group cohesion and enhance communication.
- Enhance their relationship with a Higher Power.
- Doubling and role reversal as powerful tools for awareness of self and others.
- Role play to explore challenging situations that arise on the path to sobriety and practice skills necessary to prevent relapse.
- Experiential techniques to help clients pass through the doors of Souldrama as they access their spiritual and emotional intelligence.
- Specific action warm ups to help focus on substance abuse related issues.
