Putting Spirituality into Action
The Method

Souldrama spurs the soul into action bringing forth its spontaneity and creativity. This Group Action Process moves us from our Rational Intelligence (what I think) to our Emotional Intelligence (what I feel) and Spiritual Intelligence (what I am) so that we can integrate all three in our lives.

Souldrama offers seven stages, or doorways, of spiritual growth and transformation. As a Group Action Process, Souldrama helps one to: overcome roadblocks in careers and relationships, create new roles in one's life, release the light and peacefulness within the core of one's being, illuminate one's spiritual gifts, and recognize as well as define one's higher purpose in life.

When one steps through each doorway, they will uncover a challenge to overcome before they can open the next one. With the completion of each stage comes the gift of illumination, a glimpse of the authentic self, that lights the way on the journey of self-discovery. Each doorway leads one to a higher state of spiritual development: doors One and Two moves one beyond their Rational Intelligence, doors Three and Four moves one through their Emotional Intelligence, and doors Five and Six leads one through their Spiritual Intelligence. Door Seven is the integration and transformation of all three stages of intelligence along with the wisdom and knowledge of the process, one'sinner journey...their life's purpose.

The processes of Souldrama are akin to a pilgrimage or rite of passage. The common elements are to (1) Accept the challenge to journey for a specific purpose; (2) Find the faith and truth in one's vision needed to set out; (3) Learn how to invoke the strength of spirit and perseverance; (4) Listen and allow the soul to speak and work through you; (5) Overcome the obstacles that slow you down; (6) To perform the appropriate rituals and connect with the transcendent self at the destination of the pilgrimage; and (7) To return to one's home community, bringing back enlightenment and blessings.

On our Journey of Spiritual Transformation there are many doors that we may choose to enter and many paths we can choose to tread. Transformation is a cyclical process, and we intuitively know when it is time for a change. One's challenges may seem insurmountable, but with the Group Process of Souldrama, one feels supported from the beginning of the journey to the end; living one's higher purpose filled with love, self-acceptance, and peace. Experience the Journey through the Doors of Spiritual Transformation at one of our retreats!

Action Methods is the term used to describe visual and role-based approaches to individual and group work. These methods are derived from Psychodrama and Sociometry, which were developed originally by JL Moreno and have subsequently been applied to many contexts: organizsational, educational, community.

They can be used for personal and professional work, for example job and relationship choices, conflict management, strategic planning, team building, review meetings, training and development events and community consultation.

In 1997, this American psychodramatist started developing the idea of using psychodrama with a different structure. Since then, she has been in Indonesia, Holland, Greece, Italy, Latvia, for instance, showing her proposed seven-stage path to spirituality. Recorded during her last visit to São Paulo, Brazil, the video shows briefly how we can move from (1) Faith and Trust, (2) Truth and Clarity, through (3) Compassion and Forgiveness, (4) Love and Unconditional Self Love, (5) Humility and Empowerment, (6) Gratitude and Self Worth, up to (7) Inspiration and Transformation. The Brazilian psychodramatist Alberto Boarini, who invited her, tells also quickly how he came to know her and what he expects from this work
