Souldrama seven doorways to transformation 

This workshop will introduce students to how action methods can be used to enhance the outcome of integrating psychoogy and spirituality in  therapy. This combination of training and experiential personal work will introduce participants to the untapped resources of well-being that psychodramatic methods are particularly suited to activating.   Participants will have the opportunity to practice these new interventions through work on their own issues.

Through demonstration, lecture, full psychodramas and vignettes participants will learn how to activate ‘flow’ events. They will get to practice the use of standard psychodramatic techniques including the empty chair, doubling, role reversal, mirroring, and auxiliary work as well as to increase their understanding how science has informed the use of these methods to express faith, truth, forgiveness, love gratitude, humility to inspire themselves and others .

Participants will learn how to move past resistance through the opening the doors of Souldrama toward acceptance,  honoring defenses and through  sociometry create the safety that encourages individual and group warm up to spontaneity, healing and change. 

Together we will explore what is resistance? How does it get in the way? How does it serve us? How can we help our clients move beyond it ?

Participants will learn and practice:

• Sociometric exercises that that increase group cohesion and safety
• The Use of the Psychodramatic Empty Chair
• Doubling in group and individual work
• The power of role reversal
