Overcoming the personal fears that prevent you from moving forward Increasing your self esteem and much, much more
Thinking about starting a group? Or Do you wish to have personal growth?
Do you wish you could help clients to move forward in their lives?. Using action methods, this group offers opportunities to help clients express feelings, identify and nurture resilient inner qualities, experience connection and emotional support and to remember and access the positive qualities that have helped them before.
Those trained in psychodrama help individuals and groups explore their challenges in creative ways intended to initiate meaningful action in the lives of their clients'. Action methods derived from psychodrama are used with groups, families, couples, and individuals in clinical, educational, or organizational settings
Action methods help people connect with and express frozen feelings. They encourage creativity and strengthen self-efficacy. They dovetail beautifully with many of the issues that clients bring to treatment for chemical dependency and other additions: resistance, emotional disconnection, low self-esteem, ambivalence, lack of hope about the future, and isolation.
. Professionals trained in this method gain effective tools to help others access their best potential. Professionals/students from various fields are welcome; social work, psychology, drama, nursing, addictions...Some seek board certification, others seek professional development, many just enjoy learning and professional community.
